Whispering Pines is located on 5 beautifully wooded acres. While the property is rural it is within minutes of Loudonville, a quaint town with many options such as boutique shopping, restaurants, canoeing, an aerial park, go carts, mini golf, and more! Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails, and Amish country are within a beautiful and short drive from the cabin making for unlimited fun day trips!

Access

While Whispering Pines is only a short distance off of a state route the driveway is gravel and somewhat steep. During the winter months (December 1st-April 1st), it is advised that all renters should have a vehicle equipped with either four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) to access the property. This requirement is essential for ensuring safe and reliable transportation to and from the rental property, especially during periods of inclement weather such as snow, ice, or other hazardous conditions.

A full eat in kitchen flows easily into the living area featuring a rustic stone fireplace for those cozy cabin vibes Step outside and you’ll find a covered living space, fire pit, and hot tub. Year after year, our guests return to this haven to escape the daily grind and reconnect with nature, as well as cherished friends and family.

This is a rural property. We are within easy driving distance from Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails Ski Lodge, Amish country, and more.

We do accept up to 2 dogs. Just let us know you’re bringing the prior to arrival! We do not provide firewood but there is a roadside stand that sells firewood just around the corner from the Mohican Pines cabins. The phone number is 419-632-4278. The address is 2318 State Route 97, sometimes referred to as Cleveland Street. It’s self serve.

Cancellation policy

FIRM: Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 94% of the amount they’ve paid. Hosts will retain 6% to cover platform fees. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they’ll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won’t get a refund.

Step outside to see a fire pit and chairs, covered patio with a six person hot tub, outdoor tv, ping pong, corn hole & more!

While the property is rural it is within minutes of Loudonville, a quaint town with many options such as boutique shopping, restaurants, canoeing, an aerial park, go carts, mini golf, and more! Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails, and Amish country are within a beautiful and short drive from the Lodge making for unlimited fun day trips! It’s a quiet and peaceful place to recharge but within a few minutes of lots of activities!

This is a rural area. The Lodge is a gated property. Guests will have an access code for the gate as well as the house keypad. The drive and all parking areas are cement.

Space

The Little Lodge offers 1,300 square feet of living space. Extra high wood ceilings and special touches abound! The brand new kitchen features custom cabinetry, granite counters, and everything you will need to whip up a memorable meal, including oils and spices! You’ll find bakeware, serving pieces, silverware, dishes, cookware, mixer, blender, toaster, and more! The breakfast counter features seating for two and a coffee/tea bar fully stocked for your enjoyment. The giant custom oak table offers seating for six, making it the perfect spot to gather! A brand new “laundry center” is also available in the kitchen. (Detergent provided.) The giant living room has a warm and cozy feel begging you to sit down and relax. Watch the game on the 65″ 4K smart TV. Make use of the bar or shoot some pool. Oversized, luxurious leather furniture offers the perfect hangout for your entire crew! The living room opens up to the outdoor living space which is just as special as the inside! A covered porch features comfortable upholstered outdoor seating that can be enjoyed in any weather. Gather around the stone fire pit and take a seat in one of the Adirondack chairs to enjoy the stars. Or fire up the gas grill (propane provided) for an easy, no fuss meal for you and your gang! A newly added six person hot tub, outdoor tv, and outdoor ping pong table have just been added! Bedroom #1 features two queen beds, 40″ 4K smart tv, room darkening blinds, and a brand new en suite bathroom with tiled shower. Bedroom #2 features a king size bed, 40″ 4K smart tv and a dedicated bathroom just steps away. The Little Lodge offers a taste of quiet country living with inside and outside living space that will make everything your family does there feel a bit more special!

Notes

There are two separate JJB Getaways rentals on the 10 acre property. Both rentals maintain their own parking, outdoor living areas and clearly defined yard. They share only a portion of the driveway. If you’re interested in adding more space to your getaway by including a second space please reach out! The second vacation rental sleeps up to 20 guests and has a private pond. Rentals operate independently of each other and can be rented together or separately. Please note: We do not provide firewood. There is a roadside stand that sells firewood just around the corner from the Lodge. Twin Oaks Farm is around the corner and they offer self serve firewood. (Cash only, cash box.) It is located at 915 OH-95, Perrysville, OH 44864 It is self serve.

No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed. The maximum property capacity is 6 people. No parties or events are permitted. Please be respectful of The Lodge’s neighbors. While we love our pets as much as you do we do not permit pets at The Little Lodge. If you need to board a pet during your stay we suggest Byland Animal Hospital here in Loudonville. For the comfort of all of our Lodge guests there is no smoking or vaping permitted on the property. A $300 charge will be assessed for smoking, including butts left outside. We want you to be able to enjoy the property at the Lodge while respecting the property of the Lodge’s neighbors. Please refer to the attached property map to see where exploration/hiking is permitted. For the safety of our guests and neighbors no hunting or discharging of firearms is permitted. We ask that all furniture be left in place to prevent damage to the furniture and/ or the floor.

Solitude is a spacious 5 bedroom cabin surrounded by nature. It features a large great-room with a massive fireplace, wall of windows and a panoramic view of the wooded hillside. Gaze at the stars in a premium Hotspring Grandee hot tub or get lost in the dancing flames of the fire pit. Solitude is only 15 minutes to Snow Trails Ski Resort so, in winter, after a day on the slopes, relax by the fire staring at the swirling snow lit by the “snow light”
