The space

The Mohican room is beautiful. It features a king sized bed, private bath, with a soaking tub, and an additional small room that can be used as a changing room, office, or children’s sleep area.

Guest access

All guests can use the living room and dining room. There will be snacks available in the kitchen, but cooking will not be allowed.

Other things to note

Smoking will be allowed outside on the back porch. Guests are asked to be considerate of other guests while smoking.

The Pearl Getaway

Relax & unwind in our beautiful and clean 1,200 square foot home, fully-furnished and completely renovated getaway. Just minutes away from Mohican State park and Canoeing. This 4 bedroom, 1 bath home comes with a fully fenced in large backyard, perfect for grilling out, corn hole, and your own outside activities. And how fun would it be to bring your own tent and camp out in your privately back yard?! Charcoal grill and a stone firepit are provided.

We are renovating soon the exterior of the building and preparing outside patio seating for our guest.

Mohican Hideaway

Relax and unwind on seven secluded acres with direct access to the Mohican River. Mohican Hideaway is an Eco-Luxury glamping dome located in the rural countryside of central Ohio. The dome has a panoramic view, kitchenette, bathroom and cozy loft. In addition to the luxurious interior, the dome features a private hot tub, spacious furnished patio and outdoor fire area. Whether a romantic winter getaway for two or a family trip to the river midsummer-Mohican Hideaway is enjoyable year-round and can sleep up to four guests.

 

 

The Lodge on 687

Relax with the whole family at your private oasis on 10 mostly wooded acres. The gated property features a 3/4 acre stocked pond, gazebo, koi pond with waterfalls, expansive deck & amazing views.

Inside you’ll enjoy the spacious great room, abundant windows, & the relaxing sound of water from almost every room! A total of four king beds, 6 queen beds, and 4.5 baths sleeps up to 20 people. Close to Mohican State Park, Malabar State Park, Snow Trails Ski Lodge, & Amish country.

The space

The interior of the Lodge is currently being renovated. You can look forward to freshly done rooms and furnishings when we open mid-September 2021. Large rooms, open floor plan, and tons of windows that open onto your own private deck and gardens make this a nature lover’s heaven.

As soon as you enter the enclosed front porch filled with a porch swing conversation area you’ll know you’re in the right spot!

Continue on into the dining room with a custom made oak table that seats 16 and make yourself at home at the fully stocked coffee bar.

The eat in kitchen features a custom island that seats six, tons of storage, and new appliances. A fully stocked kitchen make it easy to get a meal for your people! In addition to the fully stocked kitchen you’ll also find a Blackstone griddle/grill that makes it easy to feed a crowd!

Enter the great room and you’ll know why this home is so special. Soaring ceilings, exposed beams, wall to wall windows, a massive stone fireplace, and plenty of room for your whole gang make this a room you’ll want to hang out in all day and night! This room also has a 70 inch smart tv to watch the big game or a special movie night.

Inside living space blends seamlessly into outside living as the great room opens up to the spacious deck overlooking the pond and fire pit on one side and the koi pond and waterfalls on the other. The sound of running water fills the house! There are plenty of spots to relax and make memories!

Bedroom 1- The main floor hosts a king bedroom with an en suite bath with a double vanity, walk in shower, and whirl pool tub. A 40″ smart tv and white noise machine make this a sweet place to retreat.

Bedrooms 2 & 3 Upstairs two king bedrooms share a full bath and each feature a separate sleeping nook with a queen bed. These rooms are adorable and perfect family suites! These king bedrooms also feature large walk in closets for plenty of storage, 40 inch smart tv’s, and white noise machines.

Bedroom 4 The basement features an additional king bedroom with ensuite bath. This bathroom is newly added and features a beautiful tiled walk in shower.

Bedroom 5-The bunk room features two custom made sets of queen size bunks for a total of four queen beds in this room. A brand new full bath is also nearby.

An additional living space in the walk out basement has cozy couches, a 70 inch smart tv, and a foosball table for another great spot to hang out.

Outside there are just as many spots to explore or just hang out and relax. The spacious deck overlooks the fire pit and the pond. There is plenty of seating for eating and relaxing.

Walk down the steps to the fire pit and Adirondack chairs for a little s’more making and campfire time. Fish for bluegill, carp, catfish, and bass in the stocked pond or grab a provided lifejacket and take the little row boat for a spin.

Explore the woods, play in the creek, and enjoy all the area has to offer knowing you have a great place to come home to!

Guest access

This is a rural area. The Lodge is a gated property. Guests will have an access code for the gate as well as the house keypad. The drive and all parking areas are cement.

Other things to note

While children and families are welcome at the Lodge on 687 the property is not childproof. There is a natural body of water on the property. It is the responsibility of the supervising adults to ensure children’s safety in and around our properties. Children must always be supervised by adults.

The pond may be enjoyed by swimming, fishing, or using the small provided boat. Life jackets are recommended. A few lifejackets will be provided for your use while at the Lodge.

Riverfront Get-A-Way

Walk out the door to the Mohican River and launch or jump right in! After sleeping comfortably in our 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home with central air, pick your river activity. Our 1.22 acre property has a private back yard with steps leading to the river for fishing, swimming, floating, wading, or just watching others play. A beautiful deck over hanging the river is a great place to entertain and make lasting memories! Open March through October. Sleeps 8.

Not only will you find this to be a quietly secluded, clean and comfortable vacation destination, you will also find this to be a premier location!! It’s hard to find private property located inside this state park! Put your shoes on, head out the door and:
