The Gilded Needle in in Downtown Loudonville is a new needlepoint and cross-stitch shop has opened in Loudonville amid a surge popularity of fiber arts.
The store offers a wide selection of needlework supplies, including curated patterns, beginner kits, hand-painted needlepoint canvases, stitching accessories and hundreds of thread options. In addition to retail offerings, Lucy Mattox has designed more than 1,000 custom cross-stitch patterns featuring customers' homes, pets and other cherished subjects, while also developing her own line of original needlepoint canvas designs.
