Located in the Pleasant Valley of Richland County, Malabar Farm State Park is representative of the diversity of the glaciated Appalachian Plateau region and was the dream of legendary Author, Pulitzer Prize-Winner and Conservationist, Louis Bromfield. Today, visitors can tour the Big House and working Farm which operates as it did in Bromfield's time. The outbuildings and pastures still house a variety of farm animals and the rolling hills are ribboned with strips of corn, wheat, oats and hay while the scenic trails are adorned with nature's bounty.
