A total of four king beds, 6 queen beds, and 4.5 baths means there’s room for everyone. Close to Mohican State Park, Malabar State Park, Snow Trails, & Amish country.

Neighborhood

The Lodge on 687 is located on 8 gorgeous acres. Your private nature retreat is located within a fenced property with a 3/4 acre stocked pond. While the property is rural it is within minutes of Loudonville, a quaint town with many options such as boutique shopping, restaurants, canoeing, an aerial park, go carts, mini golf, and more! Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails, and Amish country are within a beautiful and short drive from the Lodge making for unlimited fun day trips.

Access

The drive and all parking areas are cement but the drive is long and does include some incline. During the winter months (December 1st-April 1st), it is advised that all renters should have a vehicle equipped with either four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) to access the property. This requirement is essential for ensuring safe and reliable transportation to and from the rental property, especially during periods of inclement weather such as snow, ice, or other hazardous conditions.

Space

Large rooms, open floor plan, and tons of windows that open onto your own private deck and gardens and pond make this a nature lover's heaven. With over 4,000sf The Lodge features plenty of room for everyone to sleep with four king beds and six queens as well as multiple living spaces inside and out that offer plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. Whether you're fishing in the pond, playing pool in the basement, or playing games by the fire- there's something for everyone!

This is a rural property. We are within easy driving distance from Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails Ski Lodge, Amish country, and more.

Notes

While children and families are welcome at the Lodge on 687 the property is not childproof. There is a natural body of water on the property. It is the responsibility of the supervising adults to ensure children's safety in and around our properties. Children must always be supervised by adults. The pond may be enjoyed by swimming, fishing, or using the small provided boat. Life jackets are recommended. A few lifejackets will be provided for your use while at the Lodge. Please note: We do not provide firewood. There is a roadside stand that sells firewood just around the corner from the Lodge. Twin Oaks Farm is around the corner and they offer self serve firewood. (Cash only, cash box.) It is located at 915 OH-95, Perrysville, OH 44864 It is self serve.

House Rules

No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed. The maximum property capacity is 20 people. No parties or events are permitted. Please be respectful of The Lodge's full time neighbors. While we love our pets as much as you do we do not permit pets at the Lodge on 687; If you need to board a pet during your stay we suggest Byland Animal Hospital here in Loudonville. For the comfort of all of our Lodge guests there is no smoking or vaping permitted on the property. A $300 charge will be assessed for smoking, including butts left outside. We want you to be able to enjoy the property at the Lodge while respecting the property of the Lodge's full time neighbors. Please refer to the attached property map to see where exploration/hiking is permitted. For the safety of our guests and neighbors no hunting or discharging of firearms is permitted. We ask that all furniture be left in place to prevent damage to the furniture and/ or the floor.

Cancellation policy

FIRM: Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 94% of the amount they've paid. Hosts will retain 6% to cover platform fees. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
