Charles Mill Earth Day Celebration

1-3pm         Tree Giveaway – Do you have a spot for a tree?! Stop by the Messerly Recreation Center to pick up FREE saplings! Red oak, white oak, and white pine saplings will be available on a first come, first served basis. Planting and species information will be available at the time of pick-up. All trees are ready to be taken home and planted!! Sponsored by the MWCD Conservation Department.

1-2pm         Traveling Kids Craft – Watch for the traveling gator passing out event schedules and craft kits!

2-4pm         Earth Day Clean-up – Stop by the Messerly Recreation Center for gloves and trash bags, then pick-up litter throughout the park and on the trails! Bring the bags back and receive a coupon for a FREE night of daily camping!

6pm            Camper Get-together Dinner – Meet new campers and catch up with old friends at the first dinner of the year. Register online at https://mwcd.ticketleap.com. Donation is $10 per adult and $5 per child 12 and under. Menu includes ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, and dessert at the Messerly Recreation Center.

7pm            Kidz and Adult BINGO – Visit the Messerly Recreation Center for an evening of Easter prizes!
