DESCRIPTION:Friday\, April 5                  Welcome Back Seasonal Campers!!! \n\n\n\n5-7pm           Traveling Program & Craft – Look for our traveling program staff on the golf cart as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites with 2024 event information and a fun craft kit! \n\n\n\n7:30-8:30pm Family BINGO – Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center for an evening of fun and games! \n\n\n\nSaturday\, April 6              \n\n\n\n10am-12pm  Solar Eclipse Painting for Adults – Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center to paint a solar eclipse landscape with Linda Goodman. $15 per person. All materials provided\, online registration required at https://mwcd.ticketleap.com.   \n\n\n\n2-3pm         Galaxy Craft for Kids – Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center to learn about space and make a galaxy jar to take home. \n\n\n\n4-5pm         Solar Eclipse 101 – The solar eclipse will be happening on Monday\, April 8! Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center to learn about the eclipse and what to expect. \n\n\n\n7-9pm         Wagon Tours – Take a wagon tour of the park and learn about the campground\, plus enjoy information about the upcoming solar eclipse. Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center. \n\n\n\nSunday\, April 7        \n\n\n\n1-2pm         Tie Dye T-shirts – Make a colorful and unique creation in the grass near Messerly Recreation Center! T-shirts will be available for purchase\, cash only. Shirts will be $10 each\, youth small to 3XL. Sizes are first come\, first served. *Limited Edition Solar Eclipse Design* \n\n\n\n3-4pm         Space Junk – Discover what is floating through space and make a bag of your own space junk to enjoy! Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center. \n\n\n\n5-6pm         Solar Art for All Ages – Use the sun’s power to make a unique piece of artwork! Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center. \n\n\n\n7:30-9pm      Campfire & Stargazing – Relax by the campfire and learn about a variety of constellations. Bring a snack to share and enjoy a special campfire treat! DESCRIPTION:1-3pm         Tree Giveaway – Do you have a spot for a tree?! Stop by the Messerly Recreation Center to pick up FREE saplings! Red oak\, white oak\, and white pine saplings will be available on a first come\, first served basis. Planting and species information will be available at the time of pick-up. All trees are ready to be taken home and planted!! Sponsored by the MWCD Conservation Department. \n\n\n\n1-2pm         Traveling Kids Craft – Watch for the traveling gator passing out event schedules and craft kits! \n\n\n\n2-4pm         Earth Day Clean-up – Stop by the Messerly Recreation Center for gloves and trash bags\, then pick-up litter throughout the park and on the trails! Bring the bags back and receive a coupon for a FREE night of daily camping! \n\n\n\n6pm            Camper Get-together Dinner – Meet new campers and catch up with old friends at the first dinner of the year.
