The 50k will begin at 7:30 AM and the 25k will begin at 9:00 AM. Please see race web site for more race information\, 50k buckles\, race shirts and a meal with a hot shower available. You may also rent a cabin at the race site.. Cut Off: The 50k runners have 10 hours to finish. The Covered Bridge will be the last aid station (5.0 to go) and will close at 3:50 PM. Download the iNaturalist app and identify an array of Ohio trees\, plants\, and animal species as you go. This a free\, intermediate\, 2.5-mile round-trip hike\, recommended for experienced hikers. Proper footwear\, layered clothing\, water bottle and hiking sticks are highly recommended. Meet at the Gorge Overlook.

DESCRIPTION:Come explore stream life in the Clear Fork Mohican State Scenic River.  Learn how ODNR determines stream health by the types of animals we find using a kick seine and turning rocks. Free and open to the public. Groups are welcome or can schedule a free private outing.  Wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get wet. Attending qualifies as first step to becoming a stream quality monitoring volunteer.  RSVP is encouraged\, though not required\, through Christine.Szymanski@dnr.ohio.gov
