DESCRIPTION:Malabar Farm special tour \n\n\n\nLouis Bromfield’s experience as an ambulance driver attached to the French army during World War I served as inspiration for his family to return for a visit in 1925\, which extended to thirteen years of living in France. Those years shaped Bromfield’s view of the world\, and of himself\, culminating in his desire to return to his birthplace in Ohio and establish Malabar Farm. Explore with us the furniture\, artwork\, books\, and personal mementos of “All Things French” that are part of the collections in the Big House.
