This year’s classes will provide additional content on day two instead of a repeat of day one. However\, there will be a registration fee required for this year’s workshops.Fred Staunton and George Welling will be hosting these classes again this year.  They have been holding classes in central Ohio for five years and they are quite popular.  Even if you’re never jammed before\, Fred and George will get you going\, playing real bluegrass (at slow speeds). These festival workshops are designed to introduce you to their in-depth\, 2-day jam camps which they offer in the Columbus area throughout the year. All bluegrass instruments and all skill levels are welcome. The only requirement to participate is the ability to change chords smoothly between G\, C\, D\, and A (basses and fiddles need to know which notes go with which chords).  Fast playing and the ability to solo are not required.  You will be jamming in the first session!Advance registrations will be sent a full packet of bluegrass jamming study material as a pdf attachment to their registration confirmation email.  On-site registration is also an option for each session.  A hard copy of the study materials will be provided to each student at the workshops.  Spectators are also welcome to listen from as close as space around the class permits.REGISTRATIONJam Class @ Mohican Bluegrass Festival – Wernick MethodJAM CLASS FLYERMohican Bluegrass Festival – Jam Class with Fred and George – Flyer
