DESCRIPTION:Michelle Boerio is a visual artist and educator from Columbus\, Ohio. She loves to makeart that uses multiple mediums to connect people with the weird\, wonderful parts of thenatural world. Her paintings use a range of watercolor\, acrylic\, oil paint\, and collage tocreate vibrant images. These expressive paintings celebrate playfulness in makingmarks.Michelle believes that anyone can benefit from the kinds of thinking and activity that gointo making art. Her workshops focus as much on creative thinking as they do ondiscipline-specific skills.As an artist and educator\, Michelle followed her passion for the arts to earn a BFA inPainting and Drawing at the Ohio State University. In 2018\, she followed up with an MAin Museum Education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Her art has beenexhibited locally and nationally\, including through the Ohio Art League\, WestmorelandNational Exhibition\, and the State Street Art Fair.Currently\, she divides her time between making art and teaching artists of all ages.
