DESCRIPTION:Friday\, April 5 \n\n\n\n5-8pm Traveling Program & Craft – Look for our traveling program staff on the golf cart as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites with 2024 event information and a fun craft kit! \n\n\n\nSaturday\, April 6 \n\n\n\n10-11am Spring Craft for Adults – Meet at the Welcome Center to make a spring decoration for your camper or house. While supplies last. \n\n\n\n2-3pm Galaxy Craft for Kids – Meet at the Welcome Center to learn about space and make a galaxy jar to take home. \n\n\n\n2-3pm Nature Center Open – Explore the Nature Center and learn about upcoming programs! \n\n\n\n4-5pm Solar Eclipse 101 – The solar eclipse will be happening on Monday\, April 8! Meet at the Welcome Center deck to learn about the eclipse and what to expect. \n\n\n\n6-8pm Wagon Tours – Take a wagon tour of the park and learn about the campground\, plus enjoy information about the upcoming solar eclipse. Limited seating available for each ride\, register online at https://MWCD.ticketleap.com. Meet at the Welcome Center parking lot\, near the mini log cabin kiosk. \n\n\n\nSunday\, April 7 \n\n\n\n1-2pm Solar Art for All Ages – Use the sun’s power to make a unique piece of artwork! Meet at the Welcome Center deck. \n\n\n\n3-4pm T-shirt Tie Dye – Make a colorful and unique creation in the grass near the Welcome Center! T-shirts will be available for purchase\, cash only. Shirts will be $10 each\, youth small to 3XL. Sizes are first come\, first served. *Limited Edition Solar Eclipse Design* \n\n\n\n5-6pm Space Junk – Discover what is floating through space and make a bag of your own space junk to enjoy! Meet at the Welcome Center. \n\n\n\n7:30-9pm Campfire & Stargazing – Relax by the campfire and learn about a variety of constellations. Bring a snack to share and enjoy a special campfire treat!
