Pleasant Hill Lake is an 850-acre unlimited horsepower lake surrounded by 1350 acres of land.  Thousands of guests come to Pleasant Hill Lake every year to enjoy recreational activities such as camping, cabins, marina, boating, fishing, hiking, hunting, picnicking, swimming, and kayaking. New full hook up campsites with 50 amp electric, water/sewer, paved pads, parking, picnic table & fire ring at each campsite. Primitive and standard campsites, pets allowed and designated area for horse camping with access to bridle trails to Malabar Farm and Mohican State Parks.

Pleasant Hill Lake is located in the heart of Mohican Country just outside the village of Perrysville, Ohio. Malabar Farm State Park

Resting on nearly 1000 acres, Malabar Farm is Located in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian Plateau in Lucas, Ohio, and was the home of legendary Author and Conservationist, Louis Bromfield.
Located in the Pleasant Valley of Richland County, Malabar Farm State Park is representative of the diversity of the glaciated Appalachian Plateau region and was the dream of legendary Author, Pulitzer Prize-Winner and Conservationist, Louis Bromfield. Today, visitors can tour the Big House and working Farm which operates as it did in Bromfield’s time. The outbuildings and pastures still house a variety of farm animals and the rolling hills are ribboned with strips of corn, wheat, oats and hay while the scenic trails are adorned with nature’s bounty.

The Wolf Creek Grist Mill has been restored to operating condition & the Fromme Cabin that was moved to the property several years ago is completed and is our new welcome center. An 1880 saw mill and 7 other historic log cabins have been donated & moved to the site for restoration. Our overall plan is the completion of an historic village on the property, in order to preserve a vanishing part of our heritage for future generations to enjoy & learn from.

 

Mohican State Park and adjacent state forest are outstanding in their beauty and offer limitless opportunities for visitors to explore one of Ohio’s most unique natural regions. The striking Clearfork Gorge, hemlock forest and scenic Mohican River offer a wilderness experience while the cottages and lodge provide scenic accommodations.

Located near Mansfield, Charles Mill is a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. The park entrance is located near the junction of State Routes 430 and 603. Over 500 campsites (class A with and without electric) in two campground locations, swimming beach, patio cabins, camper cabins, special events, daily activities.
