The Blackfork Marken Inn is a charming Victorian Inn Bed & Breakfast that was built in 1856 and is located in the picturesque village of Loudonville, Ohio. Listed on the National Registry of Historical Places, the Inn stands as a landmark work of art —
a testament to the architecture and craftsmanship of the 1800s. This house
was the home of Mac & Rena Marken and their family from 1948 to 1978. Recently, their grandchildren joined together to re-open the home as a Bed and Breakfast in honor of them. Today, this elegant lady graciously welcomes guests with arms wide open. You will be amazed at the relaxing aura of this small-town Inn.

Tucked away in a quiet yet central part of Loudonville Ohio, The Hemlock Inn is a cozy, down to earth motel that offers 20 airy rooms that are clean comfortable and affordable. We are centrally located for all your Mohican area adventures. We are just a quick drive or relaxing walk from downtown Loudonville where you will find shopping, dining, a fitness center and friendly people. We are also a bike ride away from the beautiful Mohican State Park and short scenic drive to Malabar Farm State Park. We are situated along the Loudonville Bike Path so be sure to bring your bike!

Laid out for convenience, the motel offers the benefit of door front parking while also uniquely offering an interior hall so you don’t have to wake up fully to go to the cafe area to enjoy the simple breakfast items and available coffee. The Hemlock Inn is inspired by local co-owners Taylor and Leigh Ann Runge. In the coming months the Motel will be undergoing extensive renovations and amenity improvements. The aim is to shift to more of a basecamp for the local activities while being a destination itself as well.
